The Lens Lounge is South Bend’s creative rental studio and photography community hub. With 12 styled sets—including a living room, bedroom, office, and artistic designs—it’s perfect for photographers, content creators, and small businesses.
Our Story
The Lens Lounge was born from a dream I carried for years — a dream that photography didn’t have to feel lonely.
For nearly two decades, I’ve been behind the camera. I’ve photographed weddings in Scotland, taught classes, mentored photographers, and built my own business from the ground up. I’ve stood in rooms at major conferences like Wedding & Portrait Photographers International, soaking in inspiration. I’ve learned from some of the greatest creatives of our time. And through it all, one thing became clear:
We grow faster — and stronger — together.
Photography can be isolating. We edit alone. We market alone. We carry the weight of creativity and business alone. And while I loved building my brand, I craved something more — a space where photographers could gather, experiment, learn, and create without pressure.
That space became The Lens Lounge.
Located inside LangLab in South Bend, The Lens Lounge is more than a studio rental. It’s a 1,800-square-foot creative playground designed for photographers who want room to breathe, dream, and elevate their craft. With thoughtfully curated sets, natural light, studio lighting options, and room to move, it was built to inspire.
But more than the sets and square footage, it was built for community.
I believe in sharing knowledge.
I believe in collaboration over competition.
I believe in creating opportunities for artists to step into rooms they once felt intimidated by.
Through monthly meetups, mentoring, styled shoots, and creative gatherings, The Lens Lounge exists to build connection. Whether you’re just starting out or years into your career, you deserve a space that feels welcoming, empowering, and professional.
The Lens Lounge isn’t just about renting a studio.
It’s about building confidence.
It’s about trying something new.
It’s about raising the standard — together.
I created this space because I know what it feels like to want more.
